Search all people groups across countries based on provided filters. (JSON or XML)
Search through all the various people groups across the countries they reside in.

The format of the response, either 'json' or 'xml'.
Query parameters
Your Joshua Project API key.
A boolean (represented as a string Y or N) that states whether you want to include a list of countries that they reside in. (Default: Y)
A boolean (represented as a string Y or N) that states whether you want people groups that as a whole are considered frontier people groups.
A bar separated list of one or more JPScale codes to filter by. Only accepts the following codes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. For more information check out https://joshuaproject.net/global/progress.
A bar separated list of one or more language codes to filter by. Use the 3 letter ISO code. See the code list for the codes.
The maximum results to return.
A dashed seperated range specifying the minimum and maximum number of countries the people group resides in.(min-max) You can supply just the minimum to get people groups with that matching number of countries.
A dashed seperated range specifying the minimum and maximum number of people groups in country (PGIC) that are considered unreached.(min-max) You can supply just the minimum to get people groups that match that number.
A dashed seperated range specifying the minimum and maximum number of people groups in country (PGIC) that are considered a frontier people group.(min-max) You can supply just the minimum to get people groups that match that number.

- 1 = Christianity
- 2 = Buddhism
- 4 = Ethnic Religions
- 5 = Hinduism
- 6 = Islam
- 7 = Non-Religious
- 8 = Other/Small
- 9 = Unknown
A bar separated list of one or more Registry of People IDs to filter by.
The field to sort by. You can sort by any field <a href='/v1/docs/column_descriptions/people_groups_global' target='_blank'>listed here</a>. <strong>You must also provide a sort_direction.</strong>
The direction to sort by. (ASC or DESC) <strong>You must also provide a sort_field.</strong>
