Create organization

This method creates an organization by passing the name of the organization.

Permissions required: Service desk administrator or agent. Note: Permission to create organizations can be switched to users with the Jira administrator permission, using the Organization management feature.

Request body

Name of the organization. Must contain 1-200 characters.

Response

Returns the created organization or the existing organization if name already exists.

idstring

A unique system generated ID for the organization.

namestring

Name of the organization.

scimManagedboolean

Returns if an organization is managed by scim. This field may not be present in some older organizations

uuidstring

A unique system generated ID for the organization. This is identity from the group directory id
