# Delete a User

`DELETE /users/{userId}`

Deletes a given User and its Invitation, only possible when the User is in `invited` status.

## Path parameters

- `userId` string, uuid, required — The unique identifier for a resource.

## Response `204`

The resource was deleted successfully

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad request
- `401` — Access unauthorized
- `403` — Access forbidden
- `404` — Resource not found
- `405` — This method is not allowed
- `429` — Too Many Requests, please try again later.
- `500` — Internal Server Error
