# Add Signer Document Request to a Signature Request

`POST /signature_requests/{signatureRequestId}/document_requests`

Adds a Signer Document Request to a given Signature Request.

## Path parameters

- `signatureRequestId` string, uuid, required — The unique identifier for a resource.

## Request body

- CreateSignerDocumentRequest
  - `title` string, safe-string, required — This property is a [Safe String](https://developers.youtrust.com/reference/oas-specification#safe-string).
  - `optional` boolean, required
  - `signer_ids` string[], required

## Response `201`

Created

- SignerDocumentRequest — Signer Document Request attached to a Signature Request
  - `id` string, uuid, required — Unique identifier of the Signer Document Request
  - `title` string, required — Title of the document request
  - `optional` boolean, required — Define if the document request is optional for the Signers
  - `signer_ids` string[], required — Ids of Signers to request a document

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad request
- `401` — Access unauthorized
- `403` — Access forbidden
- `404` — Resource not found
- `405` — This method is not allowed
- `415` — UnsupportedMediaType
- `429` — Too Many Requests, please try again later.
- `500` — Internal Server Error
