# Create address free field

`POST /api/v2/settings/masterdata/addressCustomFields`

Creates a address custom field configuration.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string — Name of custom field
  - `type` 'single_line' | 'multi_line' | 'date' | 'checkbox' | 'select'
  - `allowedValues` object[], nullable
    - `label` string, required
    - `value` string, required

## Response `201`

Resource successfully created response

## Other responses

- `400` — IETF RFC 9457 Problem API compliant response
- `401` — Unable to authenticate the client
- `403` — Unable to authorize the client
- `409` — Request conflict with the current state of the target resource
- `415` — Resource representation send in the request is not supported.
- `423` — All address custom fields are already in use
