# 🔒 Update account

`PATCH /api/v1/account/{id}`

This endpoint is currently in Beta and available for testing. It may contain bugs, and breaking changes can occur at any time without prior notice. We do not recommend using Beta endpoints in production environments. Should you choose to use it in production, you assume full responsibility for any resulting issues.

Updates a single account.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

  - `accountNumber` string, required — Account number
  - `accountType` string, required — Account type
  - `name` string, required — Account name
  - `description` string, required — Account description
  - `isStandard` boolean — Is standard account

## Response `204`

Operation completed successfully, no response body

## Other responses

- `400` — XGL Problem
- `401` — Unable to authenticate the client
- `403` — Unable to authorize the client
- `404` — XGL Problem
- `409` — IETF RFC 9457 Problem API compliant response
- `415` — Resource representation send in the request is not supported.
- `429` — Too many API calls made.
- `500` — XGL Problem
