# ❌ Delete message

`DELETE /messages/{MessageID}`

Method used to delete a text sent in a chat. You will be able to delete a message that you sent as well as a message that was sent by a contact. To use this resource you will only need the messageId of the message that you want to delete.

## Path parameters

- `MessageID` string, required — Message ID

## Response `200`

OK

- ResponseSuccess
  - `success` boolean

## Other responses

- `400` — Wrong request parameters
- `401` — Need channel authorization for delete message
- `404` — Specified message not found
- `500` — Internal Error
