# Update group info

`PUT /groups/{GroupID}`

This method is responsible for changing the name and description of a group that already exists

## Path parameters

- `GroupID` string, required — Group ID

## Request body

- UpdateGroupInfoRequest
  - `subject` string
  - `description` string

## Response `200`

OK

- ResponseSuccess
  - `success` boolean

## Other responses

- `400` — Wrong request parameters
- `401` — Need channel authorization for update group
- `403` — You do not have permissions for this action
- `404` — Specified group not found
- `500` — Internal Error
