# Update group setting

`PATCH /groups/{GroupID}`

This method is responsible for changing the privacy settings for group

## Path parameters

- `GroupID` string, required — Group ID

## Request body

- UpdateGroupSettingRequest
  - `setting` 'send_messages' | 'edit_group_info' | 'approve_participants' | 'add_participants', required
  - `policy` 'anyone' | 'admins', required

## Response `200`

OK

- ResponseSuccess

## Other responses

- `400` — Wrong request parameters
- `401` — Need channel authorization for update group
- `403` — You do not have permissions for this action
- `404` — Specified group not found
- `500` — Internal Error
