# Delete a call recording

`DELETE /v1/recordings/{id}`

Deletes the call recording identified by `id`. Deletion is permanent and removes the recording file.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required

## Response `200`

Returns a success confirmation. The recording is deleted.

- SuccessResponse
  - `success` boolean, required — Indicates whether the request was successful.

## Other responses

- `400` — Returns when the recording has already been deleted.
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Request failed. The feature is disabled for your account.
- `404` — Request failed. An object with the specified ID is not found.
