# Reprocess a sale

`POST /sales/{sale_id}/reprocess`

Reprocess a sale where all transaction attempts have declined and is in the Failed status.

## Request body

- object
  - `transaction_id` integer — Pass an optional transaction_id to attempt to process a specific transaction. If not passed, the most recent transaction will be reattempted.
  - `sale_notes` string — Apply note to the history of this sale.
