# Update an account highlight

`PATCH /accounts/{account_id}/highlights/{highlight_id}`

Updates an existing account highlight. Only provided fields are modified.

**Rate limit:** 20 requests per minute

## Path parameters

- `highlight_id` string, required
- `account_id` string, required

## Request body

- UpdateAccountHighlightRequestBody
  - `content_html` string — The updated HTML content for this highlight.
  - `expires_at` string — The updated expires at timestamp (RFC3339).

## Response `200`

- UpdateAccountHighlightResponseBody
  - `data` AccountHighlight
    - `account_id` string — The ID of the account this highlight belongs to.
    - `content_html` string — The HTML content of the highlight.
    - `created_at` string — The timestamp of when the highlight was created.
    - `expires_at` string — The timestamp of when the highlight expires, if set.
    - `id` string — The ID of the account highlight.
    - `updated_at` string — The timestamp of when the highlight was last updated.
  - `request_id` string

## Other responses

- `400` — The request was invalid or could not be completed.
- `404`
- `500` — An unexpected internal error occurred.
