# GET /users/{emailAddress}/privatekey

`GET /users/{emailAddress}/privatekey`

Given a user's email address, retrieves their private key. In the case of failure a rejected promise is returned to the caller.

## Path parameters

- `emailAddress` string, required

## Response `200`

  - `passwordEncryptedPrivateKey` string

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request.
- `500` — Unable to fullfil request due to internal server error.
