# Validates password

`POST /auth/reset/validate-password`

Verifies that the password adheres to the [Unleash password guidelines](https://docs.getunleash.io/using-unleash/deploy/configuring-unleash#securing-unleash)

## Request body

- ValidatePasswordSchema — Used to validate passwords obeying [Unleash password guidelines](https://docs.getunleash.io/using-unleash/deploy/configuring-unleash#securing-unleash)
  - `password` string, required — The password to validate

## Response `200`

This response has no body.

## Other responses

- `400` — The request data does not match what we expect.
- `415` — The operation does not support request payloads of the provided type. Please ensure that you're using one of the listed payload types and that you have specified the right content type in the "content-type" header.
