# Update a Memory Store

`PATCH /v1/ControlPlane/Stores/{storeId}`

Partially update a Memory Store. Only the fields provided in the request body will be updated.

  - `displayName` string — Provides a unique and addressable name to be assigned to this Store. This name is assigned by the developer and can be used in addition to the ID. It is intended to be human-readable and unique within the account.
  - `description` string — A human readable description of this resource, up to 128 characters.

Memory Store update request accepted.

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `404` — Not Found
- `429` — This error indicates that you have sent too many requests to the API. You should retry according to the `Retry-After` response header.
- `500` — Internal Server Error
- `503` — Service Unavailable
