# Reject a task review

`POST /v1/tasks/{taskId}/reject`

Reject a task that is in review. Only the assigned approver can reject. Reverts status to the previous status and creates an audit comment.

## Path parameters

- `taskId` string, required

## Response `200`

Task rejected successfully

## Other responses

- `400` — Task is not in review
- `403` — Not the assigned approver
