# Create and configure a transaction

`POST /api/transactions`

Creates a transaction with configuration options for document verification, selfie liveness verification, biometric verification, and optional SDK configuration for client-side capture.

- TransactionConfiguration
  - `documentVerification` object — Document verification configuration
    - `enabled` boolean — Enables/disables document verification
    - `documentsAccepted` object[] — List of permissible document issuing countries combined with document type. An empty array will result in accepting all countries and all document types for the verification.

        - `years` string[] — This configuration is currently unsupported, any values will be ignored.
  - `selfieVerification` object — Selfie liveness verification configuration
    - `enabled` boolean — Enables/disables selfie liveness verification

## Response `201`

Transaction created.

  - `transactionId` string, uuid — Unique transaction identifier.
