# Create a new product

`POST /api/v1/products`

Creates a new record in the sandbox. Data is session-scoped and auto-expires in 30 minutes.

## Request body

  - `name` string, required — Product name
  - `description` string — Product description
  - `stock` integer — Units available in stock
  - `category` string — Product category

## Response `201`
