# Delete Task

`DELETE /api/v1/tasks/{task_id}`

Delete a task and all of its subtasks.

Returns `NOT_FOUND` when the task does not exist and `FORBIDDEN` when the
authenticated user cannot modify the task.

## Path parameters

- `task_id` string, required — String ID of the task
