# Update List Name

`PATCH /api/v1.4/lists/{list_uid}/`

Updates the name of a list.

## Path parameters

- `list_uid` string, required

## Request body

- UpdateListRequest
  - `name` string, required — New name of the list.

## Response `200`

OK

- List
  - `name` string, required — Name of the list.
  - `list_uid` string, required — UID of the list.
  - `created_date` string, date-time, required — Date the list was created.
  - `updated_date` string, date-time, required — Date the list was last updated.
  - `company_count` integer, required — Number of companies in the list.

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request. Incorrect request body.
- `401` — Unauthorized. API key is invalid.
- `404` — Not Found.
- `429` — Too Many Requests. Rate limit exceeded.
- `500` — Internal Server Error. An error occurred with our API.
