# Save files

`POST /v6/files`

Save new (or update existing) files

## Request body

- MultiParamFilePostDto
  - `data` FilePostDto[], required
    - `id` string — Id of the file, required when updating an existing file
    - `entityId` string — Id of the entity to associate with the file
    - `description` string, required — Description of the file
    - `notes` string — Notes for the file
    - `date` string, date — Date of the file
    - `amount` integer — Amount associated with the file in cents
    - `customData` JsonNode, nullable — Custom JSON in which you can store any data with max length of 2000 characters
