# Retrieve a call from a queue

`GET /queues/{queue_name}/calls/{call_control_id}`

Retrieve an existing call from an existing queue

## Path parameters

- `queue_name` string, required
- `call_control_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful response with details about a call in a queue.

    - `record_type` 'queue_call', required
    - `call_session_id` string, required — ID that is unique to the call session and can be used to correlate webhook events. Call session is a group of related call legs that logically belong to the same phone call, e.g. an inbound and outbound leg of a transferred call
    - `call_leg_id` string, required — ID that is unique to the call and can be used to correlate webhook events
    - `call_control_id` string, required — Unique identifier and token for controlling the call.
    - `connection_id` string, required — Call Control App ID (formerly Telnyx connection ID) used in the call.
    - `from` string, required — Number or SIP URI placing the call.
    - `to` string, required — Destination number or SIP URI of the call.
    - `enqueued_at` string, required — ISO 8601 formatted date of when the call was put in the queue
    - `wait_time_secs` integer, required — The time the call has been waiting in the queue, given in seconds
    - `queue_position` integer, required — Current position of the call in the queue
    - `queue_id` string, required — Unique identifier of the queue the call is in.
    - `is_alive` boolean — Indicates whether the call is still active in the queue.

## Other responses

- `404` — Resource not found. The requested resource does not exist. Common causes include: invalid call_control_id, conference not found, audio file not found, or recording not found.
