# Delete a queue

`DELETE /queues/{queue_name}`

Delete an existing call queue.

## Path parameters

- `queue_name` string, required

## Response `204`

Queue deleted successfully.

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized. Authentication failed - the required authentication headers were either invalid or not included in the request.
- `404` — Resource not found. The requested resource does not exist. Common causes include: invalid call_control_id, conference not found, audio file not found, or recording not found.
