# Generate a temporary download link for a document

`GET /documents/{id}/download_link`

Generates a temporary pre-signed URL that can be used to download the document directly from the storage backend without authentication.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Successfully generated download link

  - `data` object, required
    - `url` string, uri, required — Pre-signed temporary URL for downloading the document

## Other responses

- `404` — Resource not found
- `422` — Unprocessable entity. Check the 'detail' field in response for details.
- `default` — Unexpected error
