# Simulate balance inquiry

`POST /cards/transaction_simulations/financial/balance_inquiry`

Simulate a `pindebit.balanceinquiry` type transaction by sending a POST request to the `/simulate/financial/balanceinquiry` endpoint.

    - `amount` integer, required — The amount of the fee in the smallest whole denomination of the applicable currency (eg. For USD use cents)
    - `credit_debit` 'C' | 'D' — C = credit; D = debit
