# Aggregate institutional ownership stats for one CUSIP

`GET /api/v1/sec/13f/consensus/{cusip}`

Summary metrics computed across all 13F holders of one security: holder count, total reported value (sum across managers, $thousands), total share count. One-shot answer to 'how big is institutional ownership of $TICKER?'. Pair with /holders-of/{cusip} for the per-manager breakdown. Optional `?quarter=<stem>` selects a historical snapshot from the multi-quarter retention manifest; without the param the canonical latest-quarter pointer is used (backward compatible).

## Path parameters

- `cusip` string, required — 9-character canonical CUSIP.

## Query parameters

- `quarter` string, nullable — Optional retention-manifest stem (e.g. `01dec2025-28feb2026` or `2023q4`). When omitted, returns the canonical latest snapshot. When supplied, must be present in the enumerated manifest from /13f/quarters.
