# Current price and market data for a cryptocurrency

`GET /api/v1/crypto/{coin_id}/price`

Get current price, market cap, 24h volume, and 24h change for a single coin.

`coin_id` uses the coin slug convention (e.g. `bitcoin`, `ethereum`, `solana`).
Prices refresh every 5 minutes; data is aggregated from multiple primary sources with
fallback, so minor deviations from any single source are expected and documented in
envelope `meta.source` / `meta.fallback_*` fields.
