Search LEI records by legal name, country, and status
Search the Legal Entity Identifier registry (~3.3M entities worldwide) with optional filters on legal name, country of registered address, and entity status. Pass legal_name for free-text matching (GLEIF accepts Lucene-style wildcards like Microsoft*). Country is ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 (US, GB, DE). Status is ACTIVE, INACTIVE, or a registration status such as ISSUED, LAPSED. Records return full attributes including entity block (names, addresses, jurisdiction, legal form) and registration block (issuer, dates, corroboration).
