Per-article pageview time series

Daily or monthly pageview counts for a single Wikipedia article. Sourced from the Wikimedia Foundation Analytics Query Service (CC0). Article titles are case-sensitive and take URL form - spaces become underscores. Non-Latin titles are accepted (URL-encoded in the upstream call). Upstream cadence is ~1 day behind the current date.

articlestring required

Article title (URL form with underscores for spaces, e.g. Donald_Trump, Artificial_intelligence). Case-sensitive.

projectstring

Wikimedia project domain (e.g. en.wikipedia, ru.wikipedia, commons.wikimedia).

accessstring

Access method filter (all-access, desktop, mobile-app, mobile-web).

agentstring

User-agent class filter (all-agents, user, spider, automated). Default user excludes bots and search-engine spiders.

granularitystring

Aggregation granularity (daily or monthly). Monthly requires whole months.

start_datestring required

Earliest date to include (ISO 8601 YYYY-MM-DD, inclusive).

end_datestring required

Latest date to include (ISO 8601 YYYY-MM-DD, inclusive).

Response

Chronological list of pageview buckets for the requested article.
