MESA Adaptive Moving Average (MAMA)
John Ehlers' MESA Adaptive MA. Detects the dominant cycle period via Hilbert Transform Discriminator and adjusts smoothing alpha to the phase change of that cycle. Returns two lines: MAMA (fast adaptive) and FAMA (Following Adaptive MA, slower). Crossovers between MAMA / FAMA generate signals. time_period is required by API contract but ignored — algorithm uses Ehlers defaults (fast_limit=0.5, slow_limit=0.05).
