Historical Bank Rate
The Bank Rate is the upper bound of the operating band for the overnight rate and the rate charged on Standing Liquidity Facility advances to Large Value Transfer System participants. Since the introduction of the operating band it sits 25 basis points above the overnight rate target. This endpoint returns the monthly average overnight rate (V122514) and the policy target (V39079) for Bank Rate context.
