# Generic Statistics Estonia table query

`GET /api/v1/statistical-agencies/stat-estonia/data/{table_id}`

Fetch any Statistics Estonia PxWeb table as tidy rows. Supply `path` for the parent folder (e.g. `majandus/hinnad`) and `table_id` (with or without `.px` / `.PX` extension). Sugra builds a minimal PxWeb query that selects the last `last_n` periods on whichever dimension carries time and aggregates over the remaining eliminable dimensions. For complex filters use the convenience endpoints or browse raw upstream.

## Path parameters

- `table_id` string, required — Statistics Estonia table id (with or without `.px` / `.PX` extension).

## Query parameters

- `path` string, required — Slash-separated parent path for the table.
- `last_n` integer — Number of most-recent time periods to return.

## Response `200`

Tidy observation rows for the requested table with Sugra-normalised time.

- EnvelopeStatEstoniaGenericDataPayload
  - `data` StatEstoniaGenericDataPayload, required — Response for the generic `/data/{table_id}` pass-through.
    - `table_id` string, required — Canonical table id.
    - `path` string, required — Full PxWeb table path.
    - `query` object[] — PxWeb query selection actually sent upstream (after Sugra's defaults).
    - `observations` StatEstoniaObservation[] — Tidy observation rows.
      - `period` string, required — Period code. `YYYYMNN` for monthly series (`2026M03`), `YYYYQN` for quarterly (`2025Q3`), or `YYYY` for annual. When the source splits year + quarter or year + month across two dimensions, Sugra combines them before emitting this field.
      - `time` string, nullable — ISO-8601 UTC timestamp for the first day of the period. `null` when the period cannot be mapped to a calendar date.
      - `value` number, nullable — First measure in the row, parsed as float. `null` when the upstream cell is suppressed (`..`) or missing (`.`).
      - `value_raw` string, nullable — Raw value string from PxWeb (useful for debugging).
    - `count` integer, required — Number of observations returned.
    - `metadata` StatEstoniaMetadata — Upstream metadata block with Sugra-normalised `updated`.
      - `updated` string, nullable — Last-updated timestamp for the table, sourced from the parent tree listing (POST responses return a sentinel `9999-12-31` that Sugra discards). Normalised from Europe/Tallinn local time to UTC ISO-8601.
      - `label` string, nullable — Upstream PxWeb label for the table.
      - `source` string, nullable — Attribution string as delivered by Statistics Estonia.
  - `meta` SugraMeta, required — Metadata attached to every /api/v1/* response envelope.
    - `endpoint` string, required — Requested endpoint path.
    - `data_time` string, required — ISO 8601 UTC timestamp of the source data, not of the request.
    - `response_time` string, required — ISO 8601 UTC timestamp when this response was produced.
    - `provider` string, required — API name and version.
    - `source` string, nullable — Identifier of the primary upstream source used for this response.
    - `attribution` string, nullable — Human-readable attribution mandated by an upstream source (e.g. a securities regulator or self-regulatory organization). Present only on responses whose source requires the owner and source to be clearly identified. Do not remove or alter it when using the response.
    - `fallback_used` boolean, nullable — True when the primary source failed and a fallback produced the data.
    - `fallback_chain` string[], nullable — Ordered list of sources attempted, in the order they were tried.
    - `cached` boolean, nullable — True when this response was served from the internal cache.
    - `stale` boolean, nullable — True when the cached response was returned after the upstream rate-limited or errored. Clients can use this to detect degraded data.

## Other responses

- `401` — Missing or invalid `x-api-key` header.
- `422` — Validation Error
- `429` — Daily rate limit exceeded. Check `X-RateLimit-Reset` for the next window.
- `503` — Upstream source is temporarily unavailable. Retry after a short delay.
