# Accredited LEI issuer catalog (40 entries)

`GET /api/v1/gleif/lei-issuers`

Return the catalog of GLEIF-accredited LEI issuers (Local Operating Units). Each entry carries the issuer's own LEI, legal name, marketing brand, portal URL, and accreditation date. Use the issuer LEI to trace `registration.managingLou` values on LEI records back to their issuer.

## Query parameters

- `page_size` integer — Entries per page (1 to 200; upstream total is 40).
- `page_number` integer — 1-based page number.

## Response `200`

LEI issuer entries with LEIs, names, websites, and accreditation dates, plus pagination block.

    - `endpoint` string, required — Requested endpoint path.

    - `fallback_used` boolean, nullable — True when the primary source failed and a fallback produced the data.
    - `fallback_chain` string[], nullable — Ordered list of sources attempted, in the order they were tried.
    - `cached` boolean, nullable — True when this response was served from the internal cache.
