# Income statement

`GET /api/v1/fundamentals/{ticker}/income`

Income statement: revenue, gross profit, operating income, net income, EPS. Annual (10-K) or quarterly (10-Q). Foreign private issuers who file their annual report on 20-F / 40-F under the IFRS taxonomy are covered: an annual request auto-resolves to the issuer's actual form (reported in _meta.form) and reads the IFRS line items. Fields IFRS does not provide stay null (no fabrication).

## Path parameters

- `ticker` string, required — Security ticker symbol.

## Query parameters

- `periods` integer — Number of periods (granularity-dependent).
- `form` '10-K' | '10-Q' — 10-K for annual, 10-Q for quarterly
- `usd` boolean — When true, add `val_usd` to each monetary line item for foreign filers (20-F/40-F), converted at the as-of-period-end spot reference rate (FRED H.10 or ECB), plus a per-statement `fx` provenance block. Not transaction-time. USD filers are unchanged (rate 1.0).

## Other responses

- `401` — Missing or invalid `x-api-key` header. JSON body with a stable `code` distinguishing `missing_api_key` (no header sent) from `invalid_api_key` (header sent, key not accepted); any other 401 source carries the generic `unauthorized` with its detail as `reason`. Plus `hint`. `plan` is always null on 401 - an unauthenticated request has no plan; quota exhaustion is 429, not 401.
- `422` — Validation Error
- `429` — Daily rate limit exceeded. Check `X-RateLimit-Reset` for the next window.
- `503` — Upstream source is temporarily unavailable. Retry after a short delay.
