# List Manifold markets (play-money)

`GET /api/v1/predictions/manifold/markets`

Browse Manifold Markets. Manifold is a play-money prediction market platform - all amounts are denominated in mana (M$), a play-money currency that is NOT redeemable for real USD. Probabilities reflect crowd forecasts by users betting with mana.

- `sort` string, nullable — Sort order: newest, updated, most-traded, last-updated, etc.
- `before` string, nullable — Pagination cursor from a previous response.

## Response `200`

Manifold markets with probabilities, mana volume, and liquidity.

- EnvelopeManifoldMarketsPayload
  - `data` ManifoldMarketsPayload, required
    - `count` integer, required — Number of markets returned.
    - `sort` string, nullable — Sort order applied upstream (e.g. newest, updated, most-traded).
    - `before` string, nullable — Pagination cursor echoed back from the request.
    - `markets` ManifoldMarket[], required — Markets list sorted by the requested sort order.

      - `outcome_type` 'BINARY' | 'MULTIPLE_CHOICE' | 'POLL' | 'BOUNTIED_QUESTION' | 'NUMBER' | 'STONK', nullable — Market outcome type: BINARY, MULTIPLE_CHOICE, POLL, BOUNTIED_QUESTION, NUMBER, or STONK.
      - `mechanism` string, nullable — Market-making mechanism (e.g. cpmm-1, cpmm-multi-1).
      - `token` string, nullable — Currency token. 'MANA' for play-money mana, 'CASH' for sweepstakes cash (rare).
      - `pool` object, nullable — Current liquidity pool balances per outcome, denominated in mana.
      - `probability` number, nullable — Implied probability for binary markets (0.0 to 1.0). Null for non-binary outcome types.
      - `p` number, nullable — Internal market-maker p parameter (CPMM curve shape).
      - `total_liquidity` number, nullable — Total subsidy liquidity in the market, in mana (M$, play-money).
      - `volume` number, nullable — Lifetime volume traded, in mana (M$, play-money).
      - `volume_24h` number, nullable — Volume in the last 24 hours, in mana (M$, play-money).

      - `resolution_time` string, nullable — Resolution time once resolved (ISO 8601 UTC).
      - `answers` object[], nullable — Answer array for MULTIPLE_CHOICE or NUMBER markets; each answer has its own probability and pool.
  - `meta` SugraMeta, required — Metadata attached to every /api/v1/* response envelope.

    - `fallback_chain` string[], nullable — Ordered list of sources attempted, in the order they were tried.
    - `cached` boolean, nullable — True when this response was served from the internal cache.
    - `stale` boolean, nullable — True when the cached response was returned after the upstream rate-limited or errored. Clients can use this to detect degraded data.

## Other responses

- `401` — Missing or invalid `x-api-key` header. JSON body with a stable `code` distinguishing `missing_api_key` (no header sent) from `invalid_api_key` (header sent, key not accepted); any other 401 source carries the generic `unauthorized` with its detail as `reason`. Plus `hint`. `plan` is always null on 401 - an unauthenticated request has no plan; quota exhaustion is 429, not 401.
- `422` — Validation Error
- `429` — Daily rate limit exceeded. Check `X-RateLimit-Reset` for the next window.
- `503` — Upstream source is temporarily unavailable. Retry after a short delay.
