# Comm-Link Reverse Image Link Search

`POST /api/comm-links/reverse-image-link-search`

Return comm-links that reference the same RSI-hosted image URL.

## Request body

  - `url` string, uri, required — Full URL to an image hosted on robertsspaceindustries.com or media.robertsspaceindustries.com

List of Comm-Links that use that image

    - `title` string — Title of the Comm-Link
    - `rsi_url` string, uri — Link to the Comm-Link on the RSI website.
    - `api_url` string, uri — API URL for this Comm-Link resource.
    - `api_public_url` string, uri — Public web URL for this Comm-Link on the API portal.
    - `channel` string — Publishing channel, e.g. Engineering, Transmission.
    - `category` string — Content category, e.g. General, Community, Lore, Development.
    - `series` string — Series the Comm-Link belongs to, e.g. Around the Verse, 10 For the Chairman.
    - `images` CommLinkImage[] — Included images when the `images` relation is loaded.
      - `id` integer — Internal database identifier.
      - `name` string — File name or path segment of the image.
      - `rsi_url` string, uri — Full URL to the image on the RSI media CDN.
      - `api_url` string, uri, nullable — API URL for this image resource.
      - `alt` string — Alternative text for the image.
      - `size` integer — File size in bytes.
      - `mime_type` string — MIME type of the image file.
      - `last_modified` string, date-time — ISO 8601 timestamp of when the image was last modified on the CDN.
      - `tags` object[], nullable — Tags associated with the image when the `tags` relation is loaded.
        - `name` string — Tag name.
        - `translated_name` string, nullable — Translated tag name.
        - `images_count` integer — Number of images sharing this tag.
      - `similar_url` string, uri — API URL to find visually similar images.
      - `comm_links` object[], nullable — Comm-Links that reference this image, included when the `commLinks` relation is loaded.
        - `id` integer — CIG identifier of the Comm-Link
        - `title` string — Title of the Comm-Link
        - `api_url` string, uri — API URL for this Comm-Link resource.
        - `web_url` string, uri — Public web URL for this Comm-Link.
      - `duplicates` object[], nullable — Duplicate images that share the same base image, included when the `duplicates` relation is loaded.
        - `id` integer — Internal database ID of the duplicate image
        - `name` string — File name of the duplicate image
      - `base_image` object, nullable — The original image this is a duplicate of, included when the `baseImage` relation is loaded.
        - `id` integer — Internal database ID of the base image
        - `name` string — File name of the base image
      - `similarity` integer, nullable — Similarity percentage to the search image. Only present in reverse image search results.
    - `images_count` integer — Total number of images associated with this Comm-Link.
    - `links` CommLinkLink[] — Included links when the `links` relation is loaded.
      - `href` string, uri — The URL the link points to.
      - `text` string — Display text of the hyperlink.
    - `links_count` integer — Total number of external links in the Comm-Link content.
    - `comment_count` integer — Number of comments on the original RSI post.
    - `created_at` string, date-time — ISO 8601 timestamp of when the Comm-Link was published.
    - `translations` Translation — Translations of an entity
      - `en` string
      - `de` string
      - `zh` string
      - `fr` string
    - `created_at_human` string — Human-readable relative time since publication.

## Other responses

- `404` — No Comm-Link found.
- `422` — Validation error. The url field is required and must be a valid URL on robertsspaceindustries.com.
- `429` — Rate limit exceeded. Reverse image search is limited to 10 requests per minute.
