Refunds for Interac payments on a Square Terminal are supported only for Interac debit cards in Canada. Other refunds for Terminal payments should use the Refunds API. For more information, see [Refunds API](api:Refunds). ## Request body - CreateTerminalRefundRequest - `idempotency_key` string, required — A unique string that identifies this `CreateRefund` request. Keys can be any valid string but must be unique for every `CreateRefund` request. See [Idempotency keys](https://developer.squareup.com/docs/build-basics/common-api-patterns/idempotency) for more information. - `refund` TerminalRefund — Represents a payment refund processed by the Square Terminal. Only supports Interac (Canadian debit network) payment refunds. - `id` string — A unique ID for this `TerminalRefund`. - `refund_id` string — The reference to the payment refund created by completing this `TerminalRefund`. - `payment_id` string, required — The unique ID of the payment being refunded. - `order_id` string — The reference to the Square order ID for the payment identified by the `payment_id`. - `amount_money` Money, required — Represents an amount of money. `Money` fields can be signed or unsigned. Fields that do not explicitly define whether they are signed or unsigned are considered unsigned and can only hold positive amounts. For signed fields, the sign of the value indicates the purpose of the money transfer. A `TerminalRefund` that is `PENDING` is automatically `CANCELED` and has a cancellation reason of `TIMED_OUT`. Default: 5 minutes from creation.
