# ListPayouts

`GET /v2/payouts`

Retrieves a list of all payouts for the default location.
You can filter payouts by location ID, status, time range, and order them in ascending or descending order.
To call this endpoint, set `PAYOUTS_READ` for the OAuth scope.

## Query parameters

Success

- ListPayoutsResponse — The response to retrieve payout records entries.
  - `payouts` Payout[] — The requested list of payouts.
    - `id` string, required — A unique ID for the payout.
    - `status` 'SENT' | 'FAILED' | 'PAID' — Payout status types
    - `location_id` string, required — The ID of the location associated with the payout.
    - `created_at` string — The timestamp of when the payout was created and submitted for deposit to the seller's banking destination, in RFC 3339 format.
    - `updated_at` string — The timestamp of when the payout was last updated, in RFC 3339 format.
    - `amount_money` Money — Represents an amount of money. `Money` fields can be signed or unsigned. Fields that do not explicitly define whether they are signed or unsigned are considered unsigned and can only hold positive amounts. For signed fields, the sign of the value indicates the purpose of the money transfer. See [Working with Monetary Amounts](https://developer.squareup.com/docs/build-basics/working-with-monetary-amounts) for more information.
      - `amount` integer, nullable — The amount of money, in the smallest denomination of the currency indicated by `currency`. For example, when `currency` is `USD`, `amount` is in cents. Monetary amounts can be positive or negative. See the specific field description to determine the meaning of the sign in a particular case.

    - `destination` Destination — Information about the destination against which the payout was made.
      - `type` 'BANK_ACCOUNT' | 'CARD' | 'SQUARE_BALANCE' | 'SQUARE_STORED_BALANCE' — List of possible destinations against which a payout can be made.
      - `id` string — Square issued unique ID (also known as the instrument ID) associated with this destination.
    - `version` integer — The version number, which is incremented each time an update is made to this payout record. The version number helps developers receive event notifications or feeds out of order.
    - `type` 'BATCH' | 'SIMPLE' — The type of payout: “BATCH” or “SIMPLE”. BATCH payouts include a list of payout entries that can be considered settled. SIMPLE payouts do not have any payout entries associated with them and will show up as one of the payout entries in a future BATCH payout.
    - `payout_fee` PayoutFee[], nullable — A list of transfer fees and any taxes on the fees assessed by Square for this payout.

      - `effective_at` string, nullable — The timestamp of when the fee takes effect, in RFC 3339 format.
      - `type` 'TRANSFER_FEE' | 'TAX_ON_TRANSFER_FEE' — Represents the type of payout fee that can incur as part of a payout.
    - `arrival_date` string, nullable — The calendar date, in ISO 8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD), when the payout is due to arrive in the seller’s banking destination.
    - `end_to_end_id` string, nullable — A unique ID for each `Payout` object that might also appear on the seller’s bank statement. You can use this ID to automate the process of reconciling each payout with the corresponding line item on the bank statement.
  - `cursor` string — The pagination cursor to be used in a subsequent request. If empty, this is the final response. For more information, see [Pagination](https://developer.squareup.com/docs/build-basics/common-api-patterns/pagination).
  - `errors` Error[] — Information about errors encountered during the request.
