# Add allowed recipients

`POST /allowed_recipients/add`

Add one or more email addresses and domain names to your Allowed Recipients List. Further details of the associated setting are found in the SMTP2GO Guides.

## Request body

- object
  - `allowed_recipients` string[], required — Array of email addresses and domain names.
  - `subaccount_id` string — If you wish to make this API call on behalf of a subaccount then include its unique ID here

## Response `200`

Allowed Recipients list updated

  - `data` object, required
    - `allowed_recipients` string[], required — A list of email addresses and domain names
    - `enabled` boolean, required — A flag indicating if this list is taken into account when sending
