# Item - Bulk Assign

`POST /item/bulk_assign`

Assign items to a warehouse location in bulk. If the location does not exist, it will be created.

## Request body

- object
  - `item_ids` string[], required — Array of item IDs to assign
  - `warehouse_id` string, required — Target warehouse ID
  - `name` string, required — Location name
  - `location_alias` string — Location alias / bin name

## Response `200`

Items assigned to location

- object
  - `success` boolean, required — Whether the operation succeeded
  - `errors` object[] — Errors encountered during assignment
    - `message` string — Error message
  - `skulabs_warning` object — Non-fatal warning summary
    - `message` string — Warning message
    - `overview` string — Warning overview

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden. Insufficient permissions.
- `429` — Too many requests. Rate limit exceeded.
- `500` — Internal server error.
