# POST /v3/orgs/{orgUid}/matcaps

`POST /v3/orgs/{orgUid}/matcaps`

Creates a new matcap in the given organization. Can take either the organization UID (orgUid) or name preceded by a @ (@orgName).

## Response `201`

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Authentication credentials were not provided or do not match
- `403` — Permission Denied
