# PUT /command/lfn/deregisterFromParent

`PUT /command/lfn/deregisterFromParent`

Request an LFN to deregister from its parent, following the process described in [FANTPS] Section 6.2.3.1.4.2

## Response `200`

Device will send a deregistration request.

## Other responses

- `400` — Device is not an LFN.
- `default` — Unknown error occurred
