# Delete Fax Media

`DELETE /Accounts/{AccountSid}/Faxes/{FaxSid}/Media/{Sid}`

Delete media for a fax. Cannot delete media for a fax that is in progress (queued, processing, sending, or receiving).

#### Permissions

The API token used to authenticate must have the following scope(s) enabled to make a successful request: _Fax_.

## Path parameters

- `AccountSid` string, uuid, required — Universal Unique Identifier.
- `FaxSid` string, uuid, required — Universal Unique Identifier.
- `Sid` string, uuid, required — Universal Unique Identifier.

## Response `204`

204 No Content response.

## Other responses

- `400` — The request was invalid or cannot be processed. Check the error details for more information.
- `401` — Authentication failed. Please verify your credentials and try again.
- `404` — The requested resource was not found. Please verify the resource identifier.
- `409` — The request conflicts with the current state of the resource. The operation cannot be completed.
