# Drop a server monitor from a cluster by name

`POST /api/clusters/{clusterName}/actions/dropserver/{serverName}`

This endpoint allows dropping a server monitor or proxy monitor from a specified cluster.

## Path parameters

- `clusterName` string, required
- `serverName` string, required

## Headers

- `Authorization` string, required

## Response `200`

Monitor dropped successfully

## Other responses

- `403` — No valid ACL
- `500` — Cluster Not Found
