# Update product

`PUT /products/{productId}`

Updates an existing product. This call does not currently support partial updates. The entire resource must be provided in the body of the request.

## Path parameters

- `productId` integer, required

  - `active` boolean
  - `weightOz` number, nullable
  - `defaultCarrierCode` string, nullable
  - `defaultServiceCode` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The request could not be understood or was missing required parameters
- `401` — Unauthorized - Authentication credentials are missing or invalid
- `404` — Not Found - The specified resource was not found
- `500` — Internal Server Error - An error occurred on the server
