# Update a Supplier

`POST /supplier/{uuid}.json`

#### OAuth Scope
This endpoint requires the following OAuth scope **manage_suppliers**.

## Path parameters

- `uuid` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- SupplierCreate
  - `uuid` string, uuid — Unique identifier for this record
  - `name` string — The name of the supplier company
  - `business_number` string — Business registration number (e.g., ABN, EIN)
  - `address` string — Physical address of the supplier store
  - `email` string, email — Primary contact email address
  - `phone` string — Primary contact phone number
  - `account_number` string — Your account number with this supplier

## Response `200`

Success - The record was updated successfully

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The request is malformed or contains invalid parameters
- `401` — Unauthorized - Authentication credentials are missing or invalid
- `403` — Forbidden - You don't have permission to update this resource
- `404` — Not Found - The record to update does not exist or has been deleted
- `429` — Too Many Requests - You have exceeded the rate limit
- `500` — Internal Server Error - An unexpected error occurred on the server
