# Create a new Form Field

`POST /formfield.json`

#### OAuth Scope
This endpoint requires the following OAuth scope **manage_forms**.

			
			
#### Record UUID
UUID is optional for record creation. If no UUID is supplied, a UUID will be automatically generated for the new record and returned in the `x-record-uuid` response header.

## Request body

- FormFieldCreate
  - `form_uuid` string, uuid — The UUID of the form this field belongs to.
  - `name` string — The name of the form field.
  - `field_data_json` string — JSON configuration for this question, including type, mandatory, choices and conditions.
  - `sort_order` integer — The sort order of the form field.
  - `uuid` string, uuid — Unique identifier for this record

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The request is malformed or contains invalid parameters
- `401` — Unauthorized - Authentication credentials are missing or invalid
- `403` — Forbidden - You don't have permission to create this resource
- `429` — Too Many Requests - You have exceeded the rate limit
- `500` — Internal Server Error - An unexpected error occurred on the server
