# Delete Vendor

`DELETE /vendors/{vendorId}`

Deletes a vendor by identifier.

## Headers

- `X-LC-Tenant` string, required
- `Authorization` string, required

## Response `204`

No Content

## Other responses

- `401` — The user could not be identified.
- `403` — Error codes: * "forbidden": the authenticated user is not allowed to delete the vendor.
- `404` — Error codes: * "notFound": the vendor could not be found by identifier.
- `409` — Error codes: * "conflict": the vendor cannot be deleted because its folder contains resources that must be removed first. The error details describe which resources are blocking deletion.
