# Reclaim Task

`PUT /tasks/{taskId}/reclaim`

The current owner of task is removed so that other assignees can accept it. 
The task is not reassigned automatically.

- `Authorization` string, required
- `X-LC-Tenant` string, required

## Response `204`

No Content

## Other responses

- `400` — Error codes: * “invalid”: Invalid input in the query parameter mentioned in the “name” field on the error response. * "empty": Empty value for variable mentioned in the "name" field on the error response.
- `401` — The user could not be identified.
- `403` — Error codes: * "forbidden": the authenticated user is not allowed to reclaim the task.
- `404` — Error codes: * "notFound": the task could not be found by identifier.
- `409` — Error codes: * "invalidStatus": the current task's status doesn't permit this operation.
