# Generate a password that meets strength requirements.

`POST /v1/users/generate_password`

Returns a random password that satisfies the platform's password rules.

## Request body

- GeneratePasswordRequest
  - `length` integer — Desired password length (optional; min 16, max 72).

## Response `200`

OK

- GeneratePasswordResponse
  - `success` boolean — whether the request succeeded
  - `errors` string[]
  - `messages` string[], nullable

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Authentication failed
- `403` — Not authorized to access endpoint
- `404` — Given site not found for user
- `405` — Invalid input
- `500` — Internal error
